Capacity Building/Technical Assistance

east9-250We are available to provide resources for capacity building and technical assistance to community groups interested in improving heart health in Detroit.

Specifically we are working to enhance skills and experience among community residents to lead walking groups, to assist in the development of networks of community and faith-based organizations to support walking groups and to support changes in built, social and policy environments to promote physical activity and cardiovascular health.

Would you like to start a walking group in your neighborhood, learn how to engage policy makers to create changes in your neighborhood, or simply learn about other organizations in your area that are working to improve the community's health? We are available to assist. If you or your organization wants to learn more about the resources we have available contact us today!
